Our Awards

The NWMA features categories covering different areas of the media industry, including radio, journalism, digital media, podcasting, photography, videography and other forms of media excellence.The awards are supported by an independent nomination, judging and public voting process, with the aim of giving both established and emerging media practitioners an opportunity to be recognised for their work.

The 2026 edition features 18 categories, including the newly introduced Podcast of the Year and Videographer of the Year categories.The NWMA continues to build a platform that brings together journalists, broadcasters, publishers, content creators, media organisations, business leaders and other stakeholders to celebrate the people shaping the North West media landscape.
